Smart cities are an important part of national urban development, and smart lighting is an essential component. In the past, street lights in Xuzhou Feng County were primarily controlled by a single switch in the distribution box. This method was rigid and unable to meet the diverse lighting needs of different areas and scenes. In response to this issue, Shunzhou Intelligent provided Feng County with an advanced LoRa urban intelligent lighting solution to upgrade the city’s street lamp system.

After the upgrade, the street lamp controllers and centralized managers based on LoRa technology can remotely manage the city’s sub-regions intelligently. The system can perform differentiated dimming, switching, and timing light-off functions based on multiple conditions, such as actual illuminance, geographic location (latitude and longitude), and time strategy. At the same time, the system is equipped with an automatic fault alarm function to ensure the stability and timely maintenance of street lamp operation. Through intelligent management, the project has significantly improved urban lighting energy efficiency and promoted the realization of urban energy conservation and emission reduction goals.
